Grandpa Kramer's birthday and tubing/boating fun!

from our banana tree - delish!

Kate's favorite preschool book: cutting and pasting!

the death of the fish....I wish. Actually, he never dies. This is Austin's fish body pillow that he gave his girlfriend in high school and then when they broke up she gave it back to him, and we've had it on our bed for the last almost 11 years. Weird. He won't part with it. When I sent him this pic, he  accused me of being jealous of the fish and always wanting it to be gone - true, except the jealous part.

Katie didn't want to go in the YMCA child watch one day, so I made her sit by herself and watch me on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Every time I looked over at her, I got more frustrated that she wouldn't go into childwatch and I would go faster on the treadmill because of it. She didn't get it. In the end she said, "Mom, you're welcome that I went with you and watched you exercise. Aren't you happy I did that?"

What happens when you're on the phone with the bank for 20 minutes and Juliet makes a dirty diaper and scoots down the stairs leaving poop trails all over the place - yuck!!!

Many loaves of banana bread from our tree. We mostly give them away, but the kids can down 2 loaves for a snack!

Captain Jensen and Grandpa Kramer, celebrating his birthday!

Pregnant ladies can go tubing too!

Captain Luke learning from the best

Juliet was wasted and passed out for a few minutes on the boat, but took a good, long nap back at Austin's parent's house

Opening the birthday presents and MANY birthday colored pictures from the kids

Luke and Juliet having a scripture chase. She won.

Eliza was SO scared to go tubing, because she saw that Austin, Luke and Jensen had all been thrown off the tube (which they requested). We finally talked her into it and she LOVED it. Of course, she was only going a snail's pace, but whatever.

Luke also LOVED it and was very hard to get off! I didn't get a picture or video of Austin on, but he was impossible to shake. I thought he had wiped out 3 different times when the tube went upside down and twisting all over the place, but he always came out of the waves on top. Really fun!

Jensen kept having a concerned look on his face and hiding in the tube. We kept stopping to see if he was okay, but he was having a blast, just in his own way I guess!

First week of school

She was so tired one morning, she this blanket into the kitchen and laid down on the kitchen floor.

Then she got her second wind and grabbed her "baby" and started feeding her lunch

"Good luck charms" they bought each other

Austin and his boys trying to get a snake bite

Eliza made "sushi" playdough the other day. I don't think she knows what sushi is, but at least it was crabs and fish...or something.

We were buying the boys some new suits for their swim team and Austin saw on the website, that they were selling a "grab bag" suit in his size. Basically, it's a great brand suit, you just don't know what color you'll get. Well, this is what he got! I want to be there the first time he walks out to the pool with this baby on.

These fell off our banana tree during one of the storms. We also have a mango tree, but the squirrels take off with those very often, running with a full, huge mango in their teeth.

Austin's boss takes him out to eat at least once a week - always to somewhere good. Yum!

The water banded snake Austin and the boys caught.

Threw this one in there just for fun.

Austin wanted to try something new today: closing the toy room for the day. The kids played games together more and we did more as a family. I think we'll start doing it most Sundays.

The school bus was super late the first day - over 20 minutes - but Kate made the best of it...
